“ The food was really good, we opted for the vegetarian options and it did not disappoint! Juan the manager was incredibly helpful from the start since it was our first time there, he was more than happy to answer any questions. Atmosphere was nice and felt friendly. ”
“ I love this pasta spot I usually get their tagliatelle which is their medium ribbon or their pappardelle which is their long wide ribbon. The noodles are cooked with a nice bite. I usually get the bolognese or with two meatballs and the sauce is flavorful and the meatballs are nice and soft and juicy. They give a ton of meat in the bolognese sauce so sometimes I get the pasta without the meatballs. The service is good you order at the front and then they give you a number and serve you your food, usually is super quick. Their panacotta is good but very sweet. ”
“ Came here with a friend who mentioned this as her favorite pasta spot in LB and was very excited to try the pesto! I ordered the fettuccine with pesto & it was ready in around 10-15 minutes. My friend also ordered pesto pasta but chose the rigatoni instead. After trying both of ours, I'd say I preferred the fettuccine! The rigatoni was a bit more al dente in my opinion. I tend to prefer a lower sauce to noodles ratio, but I also appreciated that they were very generous with the sauce. All in all, I would definitely come here again. I appreciated that the prices are quite reasonable, as pasta can sometimes be a bit expensive for what you're getting. The outdoor seating was gorgeous on a sunny SoCal winter day and the pasta was delicious! ”
“ Fresh made pasta cooked to perfection, al dente. Sauces are delicious. My favorite dish is their gnocchi which is pillowy soft. Service is excellent, it sits near the marina. I love their small cafe style venue. They even have homemade gelato that I still need to try at my next visit. ”
“ Went here for the first time and it was amazing. We parked on the street, it's 90 minutes free or 2 hours? I forget. You order first and then seat yourself. They have a patio area so it's pet friendly. I got the pappardelle pasta with just butter and cheese and it was sooo good. The pasta is cooked perfectly and I wanted it plain just I can taste the homemade pasta and it was 10/10 We also got 2 specials, the tagliatelle special was amazing! We were fighting for the mushroom truffle and sausage. Cooked perfectly with amazing taste. The butternut squash ravioli was also pretty good but 9 pieces for $23 can be a little pricey but still very good and flavorful. I would totally come again. They also have alcohol and wines to go with your pasta. It does have a fast food feel so don't be turned off by that. Would 100% go again. ”
“ Very well lit, open interior and incredible service from Juan! The food was spectacular (although pricey), but we can't make this at home ourselves like they do. Salsa Parmigiana and Pasticiattte sauces were great -- I don't get pasta often so I thought it'd be too little, but it was very fulfilling. Would return when in the mood for a little pasta splurge! ”
“ Excellent. The food felt quality It felt fresh Pest was excellent The meat filled ravioli and cream sauce was amazing I don't even like meatballs but these were so so good! Wow ”
“ beautiful location, right next to beach! Order at the counter by selecting your pasta noodle and sauce, grab a number and they bring your food to your table Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty, we loved the thick noodles and bolognese sauce and the lasagna! ”
“ Hold onto your meatballs, because this place will knock your socks off! I'm Italian, and grew up with a real, old school Nona. I can tell you this place is legit for real Italian food. 99% of Italian restaurants in the U.S. cook for the American palette. Which is 99% not how real Italians cook! Ok, I made up the 99%, but I know it's a high percentage. ;p Italian Homemade was an amazing find. I stumbled upon the restaurant while doing some other shopping in the plaza. The location was easy to find, and being that it's a corner storefront, it's sunny and pleasant. Italian Homemade makes their pastas fresh right there in the restaurant. There's a refrigerator/freezer that you can shop freshly made pasta to take home to cook. Another glorious discovery was they have GF pasta! I verified for all my CD friends, they do cook the GF pasta in a separate pot. I tried the GF Fusilli Bolognese, and my mom, the Gnocchi Bolognese. Both dishes were so big, we ended up taking doggie bags. Score, second meal! The sauce was thick, hot, and perfectly seasoned. The pasta's were well drained, and cooked to perfection. Over cooking GF pasta is pretty common, unfortunately, but not this time. The GF was perfectly al dente. This place was a total win in every way. Owned by an Italian, the pride for his homeland and food shows through in every bite. We will absolutely be back when we have a hankering for the tastes of home. Chef's kiss 1000%. ”
“ So delicious!! Came here little after 11am, some of the restaurants didn't open until 11:30am so tried this place out. Interior is beautiful and the employee is welcoming. (Not sure if he was the owner or not). I ordered the meat lasagna ($18). My friend ordered the $16 special that was posted outside which came with a pasta and side salad. My opinion is that the special is not worth it, half the pasta size and get salad. I feel that ordering the regular pasta will get a better bang for your buck. The meat lasagna was very delicious and tasted fresh. I'm assuming they make everything in-house and tasted that way. What kind of ruined it for me was that there was a fly in the restaurant because the door was open the whole time. I kept waving my hand to get rid of the pasta and i knocked some of my pasta on my work pants. It was my quick reflex that caused the pasta to get knocked out of my plate. Would like the doors closed, thanks. ”
